Most of the big name charity shops generally make a good profit and they sell new items but still get a reduction in rates. hey have targets to meet they are phenomenal. And they meet them get bonuses too. The area managers are even better paid with car and expenses. Wait till its on TV. Demise of mothercare and see what the payoffs are for managers. Just saying.. Maybe you're a manager and you know it too, It's just plain common sense that it's very difficult for a retail shop with it's rent, rates and staff costs.
