The atmosphere was wrong in our shop it jarred , not enough staff serving at the tillsetc.
When you think majority of he customers were going to be either pregnant or new mums with crying babies or Grandparents waiting for ages in queues! Marion Round exactly. For us new mums in the 70s Mothercare was definitely the best place to shop, but now the internet is cheaper and more choice for the grandkids. I ventured into Mothercare a couple of years ago, and was disappointed.
