It’s so sad. My mum is 69 and has had it for 3 years it’s slowly taking my wonderful mum away from me. Some days she is scared because she doesn’t understand what is happening. My mum has dementia and her partner of 30 years didn't want to help her or have her live in the same house so I had no choice but to put her in a home and watch her slowly decline I hate him for what he has done to her and they don't even hardly visit her either they think the social pays for her care yes some.



But in the just over a year and a half she has had to pay out her self nearly so this couple are holding on to what they have and it is so nice to see.  When I read this I feel so terribly sad, I have worked an ran a unit of 10 resident with Dementia for over 20 yrs in different care homes. As the desease progreses it can be very difficult to cope with such as aggression, confusion, agitation an wondering, some people are not able to cope with this or don't know how to respond to the situation they find themselves in or how to deal with it.
