I don't trust my mom nor. Growing up my sibling fell out of a moving vehicle twice, they were strapped in a car seat but not to the car. MIL lives with me and never leaves the room, no license and finally stopped driving roughly 8 years ago after she got into another accident that "wasn't her fault" yet she left the scene of the accident yet again. I tried helping her get license before helping get another car. She wanted car first told her no. She tried to get a licence but failed multiple written tests and finally gave up. I don't trust her with my kids after my oldest told me when he was 4 that she threatened to hit him. Nope, I don't trust anybody even family.
I’ve been a great mother, I don’t remember forgetting anything important for my kids even though my life wasn’t easy and I had so much going on, full time working, taking courses to get a better job, still I will never judge something like this. It’s a split second, it can happen to anyone no matter how perfect of a parent you are. So unless there’s proof that it was done deliberately don’t judge. I’ve had moments when my brain draws a blank, I thank god it didn’t end into tragedy.
