Cars have the capability of knowing if a child is inside, and this should be included in every single new vehicle, much like airbags, seatbelts, and rearview cameras. I’m terrified something like this would happen to me, so I always put my purse in the This Is My Hallmark Christmas Movies Watching Shirt Red Truck Shirt on the floor under the car seat to make sure I grab the kid. And do a cursory glance in the back to make sure there isn’t a dog or kid in the back seat even if I know there isn’t. The babysitter, however, deserves everything that is thrown at her. It was literally her only job.
Gen Pandav I'm so thankful I didn't forget my babies or my grandbabies in a car but I would never past judgment on those that this did accidentally happen to. So heartbreaking! Prayers for this family and the babysitter. It's literally not a split second though. No one dies in a split second.
