There's three times to mourn with Alzheimer's forgetting who you are, the last stage 7 when they can no longer speak and when they pass away. It a horrendous disease to watch slowly taking over your loved ones body and there's nothing you can do. It's so heart breaking , my mum had this, she used to put cold stuff into the oven, she has gone now. Miss her every day God bless the If mama ain_t nobody happy is grandma ain_t happy run shirt ones who care for them, I never knew you could get it this young how sad. I'm 59 and have a full time job working longer hours than I did when I was in my teens 20s 30s etc so can't ever imagine getting this but you never know. My heart goes out to this couple and lucky they have each other and also wonderful they are still in love. Dear Husband had Alzheimer’s, he was diagnosed with it when he was 61years old.
He died at the age of 69. After Then my Mum had Vascular Dementia, lived with her to care for her for 3 years until it got too much. She died this year at the age of 96. It’s horrible watching & caring for someone you Love so much just waste away.R.I.P. Brian & Mum. My darling husband started with dementia at 50 and our children have had to grow up with it. It’s been 14 years of deterioration and heartbreaking loss. We have a great social worker and Carers who help but most social events are aimed at people in their 80s.
